This is an illustrative example, not a customer testimonial. It exists because Harmrit sells two different objects, and the box can still surprise people who only remember the word “canvas.”
A commute tote is a use object. A portrait is a wall object. When a custom tote fits the daily commute is the weekday case. This page is only what arriving feels like — and what it is not.
ToteCraft is a Harmrit sub-brand. The bags are print-on-demand. They are not hand-painted. That split is the whole point of whether ToteCraft is print-on-demand or hand-painted and Are ToteCraft bags print-on-demand?.
What was in the illustrative box

She had ordered a Front Only tote with a pet as a reference, not a stamp. The print that arrived was a new design on canvas fabric, not a photograph glued to a bag, and not brushwork. The mockup on screen had already shown the tote; the physical bag was that object, slightly more ordinary in the kitchen light, which is how printed goods behave.
There was no gallery wrap. There was no 8×10" sitting in tissue as if a painter had packed it. If that is the object you wanted, you wanted the other line — when the canvas arrives and how portraits work.

This page will not invent a factory clock. Made-to-order printing starts after you pay; there is no shelf stock of that design. Process sits on How ToteCraft works.
If both lines were in the same PayPal checkout

A mixed cart is allowed. Fulfillment still splits. The tote goes to print-on-demand. The portrait goes to the painting studio. One tracking email is not a promise that both objects are the same craft. Ordering a tote and a portrait together is the short rule.
Returns split too. Tote change-of-mind after production has started is not the portrait stage clock. Tote returns and the POD paragraph stay the authority.
When this arrival is the wrong story to want
- You opened the bag hoping for brushwork. That is a portrait. Start over on the portrait side, not by asking the tote to be a painting.
- You needed a likeness on a shelf. An 8×10" original is the size guide, not a tote panel.
- You needed a wedding-guest stack, not a single everyday bag — that use case is when a wedding-guest tote fits.
What this page will not promise
No named five-star quote. Never described as hand-painted. No invented print-shop SLA. ToteCraft bags are printed after you pay; portraits are still the hand-painted line.
