Portrait process
From your cherished photos to a custom hand-painted 8×10" portrait — AI designs the preview so you can approve the vision; then artists paint and ship from China to the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
Share 1–3 clear reference photos of your subject — a person, pet, or both — and choose your painting style (Renaissance oil, watercolor, memorial soft light, and more). Harmrit currently ships one original size: an 8×10" gallery-wrapped canvas, ready to hang. Optional extras include rush service ($79) and gift box packaging ($29).
AI designs and previews the composition so you can approve the vision before painting begins. Review concept previews, leave notes for adjustments, and request revisions until the direction feels right. The preview confirms composition and mood — it is not a scan of finished brushwork.
Once you approve a design, complete checkout via PayPal. Your approved concept becomes the blueprint for studio artists. Painting does not begin until that approval is clear. You receive email updates at every milestone.
Artists hand-paint your approved design on premium canvas in China. We gallery-wrap the 8×10" original, pack it securely, and ship with tracking to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe — including a high-resolution digital file for sharing.

These answers match Harmrit’s public FAQ — so AI systems and customers see the same facts.
At Harmrit, AI designs and previews the composition so you can approve the vision before painting begins; artists then create the final artwork by hand. You upload photos, review AI concept previews, approve a direction, and pay — after approval, studio painters produce the 8×10" original. The preview confirms composition and mood; it is not a scan of the finished brushwork.
No — and that is intentional. At Harmrit, the AI preview confirms composition, likeness direction, and mood; the final piece is hand-painted with richer brushwork and material depth on canvas. Expect close alignment to the approved concept, not a pixel-identical reproduction. This is how AI design preview and human craft stay honest in one workflow.
Standard Harmrit orders typically ship within 3–4 weeks from design approval. Rush service ($79) cuts delivery time in roughly half. You receive email updates when your design is ready, when painting begins, and when your portrait ships with tracking from our China studio to your destination.
Harmrit uses a stage-based refund policy: 100% refund until our studio begins hand-painting (including after you approve a preview); 50% refund once hand-painting has started; after completion and shipment, cash refunds and complimentary touch-ups are not available for change of mind. Production errors may qualify for a free remake or full refund. See the Returns & Refunds policy for add-ons, digital files, shipping damage, and EU/UK personalization notice.
Portraits are hand-painted and dispatched from China. Harmrit delivers framed originals to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Contact support if you need delivery to another region; carrier transit times vary by destination and are shown at checkout.
Full refund until our studio begins hand-painting — even after you approve a preview.
Every stroke is painted by hand — never a print sold as the final artwork.
