Matching FAQ: Can I print both sides of the bag?
Can You Print Both Sides of a Custom Tote?
TL;DR. Yes. Choose the Front + Back variant to generate independent artwork for each side. Front Only hides the back editor and prints the front panel only.
Why this matters
A tote has two large panels. Some gifts only need a front statement; others need a matching or contrasting back. ToteCraft treats Front Only and Front + Back as different checkout variants so you do not pay for a second print you never designed.
Front Only
Front Only hides the back editor and prints the front panel only. Use it when one image carries the whole gift — a commute tote, a single logo, or a photo-inspired print you do not need to repeat.
Front + Back
Front + Back lets you generate independent artwork for each side. The back is not a mandatory mirror of the front. You can keep a quiet reverse, run a name or date, or design a second scene. Preview both faces on the realistic tote mockup before you add to cart.
How to choose
- Choose Front Only if you only care about the panel people see when the bag is carried forward.
- Choose Front + Back if the bag will be seen from both directions — a wedding welcome tote, a market bag on a table, or a two-sided inside joke.
- You do not need to understand factory templates. Switching the variant shows or hides the back editor; print-safe margins stay locked either way.
What this is not
Printing both sides does not turn the tote into a hand-painted object. Both panels are still print-on-demand after you pay. It also does not print a portrait canvas; portraits are a separate Harmrit product line.
