What a wedding-guest tote is for
Use a tote when the object has to be carried: airport welcome bags, a matching set for the wedding party, a rehearsal-weekend favor people will reuse. The print can start from a prompt or a photo the couple actually likes. A photo is a reference unless you choose Print original as-is — uploading a photo.
Do not use a tote to stand in for a likeness on their wall. Guests who barely know the couple should not commission a portrait; they also should not drop twenty matching slogan totes on a couple who asked for a quiet registry. The kinder small gift is still the registry.
When the tote is the right wedding object
1. Welcome bags and travel days
Hotel drop bags need to exist in a stack. Print-on-demand is made after you pay; there is no shelf stock of that design. Plan with whether ToteCraft bags are print-on-demand and the steps on How ToteCraft works. This page will not invent a factory lead time.
2. The wedding party, not every table
A shared tote for bridesmaids or groomsmen is a use object. A shared couple portrait is a wall object. If the group wants one premium gift for the couple, follow the portrait etiquette note — not this one. If they want something they themselves will carry that weekend, a tote fits.
3. Both, in one cart, with the lines kept separate
You can add a tote and a portrait to the same cart and pay once with PayPal. Each line keeps its own fulfillment path: totes to POD, portraits to the Harmrit painting studio. That fact lives on ordering a tote and a portrait together. Do not tell the couple the bag is “hand-painted like the canvas.”
When a couple portrait is kinder

- You cannot get a print they will reuse, and a tote would become clutter.
